Medical data: health data, medical history, allergies, medication use and other health information relevant to safe treatment
Treatment data: information about performed treatments, products used, dosage, before and after photos, treatment results
Financial data: payment details for invoicing treatments
Website data: data about your visit to our website, such as IP address and browser information

3. Legal Basis and Purposes

We process your personal data on the following legal bases:

Performance of the treatment agreement: to plan, carry out and follow up on your treatment
Legal obligation: as a healthcare provider, we are legally required to maintain a medical record in accordance with the Dutch Medical Treatment Contracts Act (WGBO)
Legitimate interest: for improving our services, securing our systems and maintaining our administration
Consent: when you have given us explicit consent, for example for the use of before and after photos for educational purposes

4. Retention Periods

We do not retain your personal data for longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected:

Medical records: 20 years after the last treatment, in accordance with the legal retention period under the WGBO
Financial data: 7 years in accordance with the fiscal retention obligation
Other personal data: deleted when no longer needed for the original purpose

5. Sharing with Third Parties

Noveve Aesthetics only shares your personal data with third parties when strictly necessary:

For a medical referral to another healthcare provider (only with your consent, unless there is an emergency)
With our accountant for financial administration
With IT service providers that manage our systems, with whom we have concluded processing agreements
When we are legally obliged to do so

We never sell your data to third parties and do not share it for commercial purposes.

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, destruction or alteration. These include:
