The treatment
Prior to the treatment, an extensive consultation takes place in which we discuss your wishes, expectations and the risks of the treatment. Based on this conversation, a personalised treatment plan is drawn up. Before the treatment, the entry point for the cannula is numbed with a local anaesthetic to minimise discomfort. During the treatment, the physician injects Lanluma X beneath the skin using a cannula. Lanluma X works by stimulating collagen production, which over time creates a subtle but long-lasting volumising effect. The treatment itself takes approximately 45-60 minutes.
The result is immediately visible, but the effect will continue to increase in the weeks and months following the treatment as collagen production is stimulated. The buttocks will feel fuller and firmer, and the shape will gradually improve. The results last on average 24-36 months. After approximately 8-12 weeks, a second treatment is recommended to achieve the most optimal effect. To maintain the achieved result, a follow-up treatment is recommended.
Safety
Lanluma X is generally safe for use in the buttock area and is approved for medical aesthetic treatments. Possible side effects include mild swelling, bruising or tenderness at the injection site, which usually subside within a few days. Rare complications may include an allergic reaction, asymmetry, infection or skin hardening, but these are uncommon and can often be treated effectively. It is important to have the treatment performed by an experienced physician to minimise risks.
Before a treatment with Lanluma X, it is important to avoid blood-thinning medication, such as aspirin, for a few days beforehand to minimise bruising. Always consult a physician before stopping this type of medication. After the treatment, we recommend massaging the treated area 5 times a day. This prevents the product from accumulating and causing so-called nodules. Additionally, it is advised to avoid physical exertion for the first 24 hours, as well as sunbeds and saunas. Always follow the physician's specific instructions for optimal results and recovery.
