Skin Regeneration
Sunekos is an injectable product consisting of a patented combination of low molecular weight hyaluronic acid and six essential amino acids. This formula is specifically developed to activate fibroblasts from within the skin itself.
Unlike fillers, Sunekos does not add volume to the skin. It works exclusively by stimulating biological regeneration: the skin is prompted to produce collagen and elastin, resulting in improved skin structure, more firmness and a healthier appearance.
Sunekos is suitable for people who want to improve the quality of their skin without adding volume. It is a good choice when the skin feels tired, thin or dry, has visibly lost its radiance or when fine lines become visible. The treatment
Prior to the treatment, a comprehensive consultation takes place in which we discuss your wishes, expectations and risks. A treatment course with Sunekos consists of three sessions for optimal results, with a period of two weeks between each treatment. Depending on the skin condition, a fourth session may be added. Each session lasts on average 30-45 minutes and the treatment area is numbed beforehand with anaesthetic cream. After the treatment, the skin may be somewhat red and swollen, with small bumps that usually subside within 24-48 hours.
Because the result is based on biological repair, the skin needs time to produce collagen and elastin. The first improvements in hydration are noticeable fairly quickly. The full result, consisting of more firmness, improved skin texture and a fresher appearance, typically becomes visible after two to three months and continues to improve up to six months after the course. The effect lasts up to a year. To maintain the result, the treatment should be repeated every 9-12 months.
Safety
Sunekos is composed of pure, non-animal raw materials, which means the risk of side effects is minimal. As with any injectable treatment, local reactions may occur, such as temporary redness, slight swelling or a small bruise. These usually disappear within a few hours to days.
Before the treatment, it is important to avoid blood-thinning medications for a few days beforehand. Always consult a physician before stopping such medication. After the treatment, it is advisable to avoid direct exposure to sunlight and to keep the skin well hydrated. Avoid physical exertion, sunbeds and saunas for the first 24 hours.
